Today was my first day outside of Mommy’s belly. I’m starting to get the hang of this world. Cry, sleep, eat, it’s pretty easy. Mommy, Daddy, and all my relatives make it quite pleasant.
I made a wonderful discovery today. A plastic thing called a pacifier. I like this thing! I can’t imagine how I lived my first few hours without it. It’s very calming to have in my mouth. I can get a little cranky when it drops out, but I don’t need it all the time.
All my grandparents came to visit me again today. Auntie Deb came too, and brought me presents! I like presents.
Mommy is recovering very well. She walked around a lot today. I really like my Mommy. I like my Daddy too. I remember hearing him a lot when I was inside Mommy’s belly. He talks in jibberish sometimes but that’s ok, he’s my Daddy.
Daddy sure likes taking pictures. Whenever I hear a clicking sounds, I know Daddy’s not too far away. Here are a few pictures Daddy took today.
Daddy also took some movies today. He told me that some of them need to be edited after we get home, but as a preview he gave me one movie to post on my web site today.
Thank you again for reading my web site. I may be less than 36 hours old but I’m really enjoying reading everyone’s comments. When we’re busy doing other things, Daddy reads all of them to Mommy and me.

Dear Ariella,
Welcome to the world beautiful girl! Jacob and Lily have a cute cousin who looks just like them. Tell Mom and Dad that they did a great job and you try to sleep often so they can get some rest. I have bookmarked this place so I can see lots of pictures of you. I hope to hold you real soon. Love, Jacob and Lily’s Nana
Dear Ariella,
What a beautiful little girl you are! I am glad your first day was so busy and fun. I am also glad you like presents, because I made one for you yesterday. I mailed it to you today (and a card for your parents). I hope it gets there soon. It’s what all the stylish Winter Princesses are wearing, and hand-made with love.
Love,
Kathy, an old friend.
